Free EMS Simulation — Tension Pneumothorax Scenario | EMS-MedSim

This page runs one complete EMS-MedSim simulation free — no account, no login, and no credit card. It is the same scenario engine subscribers use, not a demo video or a slideshow.

The Scenario: Tension Pneumothorax

You are dispatched to an adult patient with chest trauma who is hypoxic and in shock, with absent breath sounds on one side. You work the call the way you would in the field: scene size-up, primary assessment, airway and ventilation decisions, and the call on needle decompression — 4th/5th ICS anterior axillary line or 2nd ICS midclavicular line per protocol — then reassessment.
